Downtown Noblesville has 202 in-game locations per square mile — PokéStops, Gyms and Max Power Spots packed into one walkable mile around the courthouse square. That is more than Carmel, more than Fishers, more than Westfield, and more than Castleton. Of the 23 Indiana communities we measured this September, only Indiana University's campus core came out denser.

That is not an accident. Our volunteers built it, one nomination at a time, over three years.

What that means on a Saturday

More stops in reach without moving the car. More spawns. Nine Gyms inside a single downtown loop. Enough Power Spots that Max Battles actually fill. You can park once and play for two hours on foot — and people drive in from Carmel, Fishers, Indianapolis and out of state to do exactly that.

What's on

  • Pokémon Hour — every Wednesday, 6–7pm, downtown. 25 to 35 trainers walking a loop of nine Gyms. Lines up with the game's global Raid Hour.

  • Three to seven meetups a week across the city — raid hours, spotlight hours, community days.

  • Trade Night — monthly at HotBox Pizza, 14300 Mundy Dr, 5:30–7:00pm. Trade, eat pizza, no pressure.

  • Max Monday — where our Forest Park trail cleanup happens. All are welcome, no experience needed.

Coming up: GO Wild 2026

Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 November, 10am to 6:30pm both days, Forest Park, Shelter 5.

Scopely runs Pokémon GO Wild Area: Global worldwide that weekend. Most towns will experience it through a phone screen. We will have a park full of people.

Free face painting, character headbands, a hidden Poké Ball hunt, a 15-prize raffle where you choose which prize your tickets go toward, and a survival kit for the first 100 people each day. Blue Smoke BBQ and Fenny's Hot Dogs both days, Café Huesca on Sunday. Phone charging at both shelters. Held in partnership with Noblesville Parks & Recreation.

Free. No tickets. No registration.

Who this is for

Everyone. There are no dues, no membership, and nothing to buy. You do not need to know what a raid is. Bring kids, bring a friend who has never played, come for twenty minutes and leave when you have had enough. Our July event drew close to 900 people over a weekend and a good share of them were families who do not play the game at all.

We have run free public events for three years without a single incident.

"It has been a pleasure working with the Shiny Hunters of Noblesville since 2023. The Noblesville Parks & Recreation Department appreciates their support in adopting one mile of the Forest Park trail and volunteering to help keep our park clean for all who visit. We look forward to continuing to work with the Shiny Hunters of Noblesville."

— Jeremy Sneed, Facilities & Events Operations Manager, Noblesville Parks and Recreation

"Pokémon GO Community Days bring people of all ages into the library, where they explore our spaces, meet new people, and spend time together. It has been wonderful to watch a shared love of Pokémon GO turn into a genuine sense of community and belonging."
— Mallory Easterday, MLIS, MA, Public Services Librarian, Hamilton East Public Library

Our event calendar is at inshinyhunters.com/event-calendar. Say hello on Facebook or Campfire — roughly 3,000 of us are already there. Or just turn up on a Wednesday evening downtown; someone will spot the phones and wave you over.
