We would like everyone to respect each other throughout this group. This begins with being friendly, continues through being a good sport, and beyond. Pokémon Go is an inclusive game and we would like our members to reflect that.

APPROPRIATE LANGUAGE

Pokémon Go is a game targeted for adults as well as children. Due to this inappropriate conversations will not be allowed either in person or online. We would hope to make this group appropriate for children as well as adults.

AGE AND FAMILIES

This group is designated for members of at least 13 years of age. However, since many families play Pokémon Go together, children of members are eligible for prizes. To be eligible, though, they will need to be accompanied by a guardian.

OBEY ALL TRAFFIC RULES

As this group desires to be a positive influence on the community, members should follow all pedestrian and traffic rules. This is an especially important rule as otherwise the safety of our members and the community are at risk.

NO CHEATING

Cheating in a game such as Pokémon Go cheapens the hard work of other players. Due to this none of these shall be allowed in this group: cheating, talking about cheating, or being caught cheating. Members engaged with this activity will be removed from the group. This includes talking about or engaging in SPOOFING (FLYING), MULTI-ACCOUNTING, ACCOUNT SHARING, or MAP SCANNERS.

NO DISCUSSION OF THIRD PARTY APPS

While some of these apps are safe... now, they could easily change something to constitute cheating in Niantic's Terms of Service. Due to this, talking about third party apps of any kind is prohibited during a meetup or on our social media.
